Upromise and a $5 Bonus

Have you ever heard of Upromise or ever signed up for it? RIGHT NOW, there is a special deal offered by Domino Sugar which they are giving a $5 bonus just for signing up. Enter Code DOMINO5 when you sign up.

What is Upromise? I joined Upromise about 6 months ago and since then I have saved over $200 for my children's college fund. Upromise is an online saving shopping program that when you purchase selected items either from your grocery store such as Food Lion, Harris Tetter & Lowes Foods even to CVS, they will contribute a portion of the selected items into your Upromise Savings account.

According to Upromise's site:

Every time you purchase an eligible good or service with a Upromise contributing company, a portion of your purchase price will be contributed to your Upromise account. To start saving, simply enroll for free on the Upromise site and begin earning contributions with our contributing companies. You then may choose to link your Upromise account to a tax-advantaged investment account in a Section 529 savings plan. To help you save even more, you can invite family members and friends to also join Upromise and contribute into your account.

I have also learned that if you do not have a 529 Saving college plan for your little one, you can request a check per calendar quarter for the money also.

Upromise has also started a program called E-coupons which can be used at your grocery store or CVS. These Ecoupons are loaded directly on your store rewards card then when you buy the item and scan your card the coupon value will go right into your UPromise Savings account- a really easy way to build your account with products you are already buying.

Here is a sample of some of the August Ecoupon deals that you can find thru Upromise:

Get $1.50 when you buy 1 Chiquita Bites multipack or Family Pack
Get $1.50 when you buy 1 Huggies or Huggies Supreme Diapers
Get $1.00 when you buy any 2 boxes of Post Kids Cereal (11 oz. or larger)
Get $1.00 when you buy any 1 Charmin MegaRoll
Get $1.50 when you buy any 1 Spray n' Wash Bright & White
Get $0.40 when you buy any Palmolive Pure & Clear Dish Liquid
Plus many more coupons for the month of August (42 coupons in total)

Each month Upromise will change their Ecoupon offer to other different products so you can always save just a little extra for your child. These Ecoupons also work great for when Harris Teeter is doing their Triple sales because not only do you usually get the product for little to no cost, but then you also get Upromise savings to go with it.

I will try to keep everyone updated with sales that I see currently going on & plus if they can get any Upromise savings with it. Overall, I have been really impressed with Upromise!
