Lowes Foods Rewards Program

As everyone knows from reading my blog, I am a huge fan of shopping at Lowes Foods for finding bargains & deals. I had a reader comment recently on my blog that she was interested in how the new Fresh Rewards program works. Anybody that is new to Lowes Foods will want to read this!

Lowes Foods is having all their customers trade in their old loyalty store cards and receive a new one called Fresh Rewards. It works in the same manner where you give the cashier your card to scan upon checking out to receive the sale prices, BUT they also have started a new program where you purchase certain items that they have advertised in the weekly flyer to receive a money coupon to be used on your next purchase (Fresh Rewards). For example, this week Lowes Foods is offering $2 in Fresh Rewards when you purchase any 5 participating Birds Eye products at 5 for $10.00. The best way to take advantage of these type of deals is to match them up with as many coupons as possible to lower your Out-of-Pocket expense and still receive your Fresh Rewards amount. The register automatically keeps track of your Fresh Reward dollars for you and when you have earned enough to go over the $5 threshold, they will give you a $5 FR coupon to be used on your next order (Note, they only give the Fresh Rewards coupons in $5 increments). So far in the past couple of weeks since starting this new program, I have tried my best to match these FR deals up with my coupons so I have little OOP and yet still earn money off towards my next order. I will try to post every Wednesday along with my Lowes Foods Deals how to best achieve the Fresh Rewards deals also. So far though, I have been really impressed with this new program for helping customers save off the next order. I hope by seeing blog posts about these deals and seeing my actual purchases will help everyone see how they work and how best to achieve the most with your money.

Lowes Foods 10/14 - 10/20

Sorry that I haven't been posting much this past week but it has been chaotic in my house since getting back from Disney World, so I have been trying to catch-up with all household chores and getting the children back into sync with going to school. Vacations are always fun to go but when you get back, I have the worst times getting back into my groove :)

New Program for Lowes Foods Customers

Just a FYI for all customers of Lowes Foods, starting October 7th, they will offering a new program called Fresh Rewards (you will need to get a new card!) Here is the information that I have found so far about the new program:

As one of our most valued customers, I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to an exciting new rewards program that we will launch on October 7th. The name of the program is fresh rewards and it is designed specifically to reward loyal customers like you! As a loyal customer, you will earn fresh rewards on all eligible purchases every time you shop. The more you spend, the more you earn. Additionally, a wide variety of promotional offerings will allow you to earn fresh rewards at an even faster rate. Each time that you earn $5.00 in fresh rewards, your Lowes Foods cashier will provide you with a $5.00 fresh rewards cash coupon that can be used towards your next purchase. There is no limit to the number of fresh rewards cash coupons that can be earned, and you can redeem as many as you would like in a single trip! There is absolutely nothing that you need to do today to participate in the program. You are pre-enrolled and can begin earning fresh rewards on October 7th. However, you should stop by the Lowes Foods customer service desk once the program launches so that you can get your new fresh rewards card. As we transition to fresh rewards, we will also retire the Greenpoints program. Rest assured, this does not mean that your Greenpoints will disappear or lose their value. By visiting http://draft.blogger.com/goog_1254703313031 you will find that there are extensive options to continue to earn and redeem Greenpoints, including dozens of gift card choices at terrific values. I would like to personally thank you for your continued loyalty to Lowes Foods. We are confident that you will be as excited about fresh rewards as we are, and we look forward to seeing you in our stores again soon!

Sincerely,

Steve Hall

***Also don't forget to sign up for E-Lowes coupons which is when you register online with Lowes Foods, You can select certain coupons for products that will download onto your card. As soon as you purchase that product and have your Lowes Food loyalty card scanned, the coupon will automatically come off your total. The great thing about these e-coupons is that you can stack them with manufacturer coupons also so you can double your saving sometimes. Also, Lowes is known to offer $5 off $25 or $10 off $50 purchase through these e-coupons (the total $25 or $50 is before coupons so that can really help out a bit too to bring down your total).
